The Ministry of Health announced this Wednesday, the 8th, in Maputo, the holding of the first Digital Health Conference, an event to take place between April 15th and 17th.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith great satisfaction, under the slogan \"Technological Innovation Driving Better Health Outcomes,\" the Ministry of Health, in partnership with the Ministry of Communication and Digital Transformation, announces the staging of the 1st Digital Health Conference in Mozambique, to be held at the Mozambique-China Cultural Center.<\/p>\n
This is a historic milestone in the modernization of the national health system, with over a thousand people participating, both virtually and in person, over the three days of the event.<\/p>\n
According to the Director for Planning and Cooperation at MISAU, Jos\u00e9 Manuel, the Conference constitutes a strategic opportunity to transform healthcare delivery through the integration of innovative technological solutions capable of significantly improving access, quality, and efficiency of health services throughout the national territory.<\/p>\n
National and international experts from Brazil, Portugal, India, Rwanda, Zambia, Kenya, and the United States of America will be present at the event, along with cooperation partners, the private sector, academia, and public institutions, creating a privileged space for sharing experiences, knowledge, and best practices. High-level discussions, an exhibition of digital health technologies, and a HACKATHON designed to stimulate innovation, creativity, and the development of technological solutions for health, adapted to the Mozambican reality, will also take place.<\/p>\n
To date, the Conference has 490 registered attendees, with 313 in person, 177 virtual, 15 registered for the exhibition, and 80 participants for the HACKATHON.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
