School of Public Health of the National Health Institute (ESP/INS) It is a national institution dedicated to advanced training, applied research, knowledge production, and capacity building for the National Health System (NHS).

ESP is responsible for:
- Develop postgraduate programs, residencies, and continuing education courses;
- Integrate teaching, research, and innovation;
- Promote strategic technical training for the SNS;
- Develop high-level national and international partnerships;
- Produce knowledge to guide public health policies.
