Functions of the Human Resources Department:

  • Ensure compliance with the General Statute of State Employees and Agents and other applicable legislation for personnel serving at INS.;
  • Develop and manage staffing;
  • Implement and monitor the sector's human resource development policy;
  • Implement occupational health, hygiene, and safety standards and strategies.;
  • Implement social security regulations for state employees and agents;
  • Manage the career, remuneration, and benefits system of state employees and agents;
  • Organize, control, and keep the INS's e-SIP updated according to directives and standards defined by competent bodies;
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement training and professional development actions for the institution's employees, both domestically and internationally.;
  • Coordinate the performance appraisal of employees and state agents within the institution and ensure the implementation of the Performance Management System in Public Administration (SIGEDAP);
  • Coordinate activities within the scope of implementing HIV and AIDS, Gender, and Persons with Disabilities strategies in the public service;
  • Plan and implement collective legislation studies;
  • Coordinate, guide, and control the application of norms related to salary policy, career and remuneration systems, and benefits for state employees and agents assigned to INS;
  • Develop maps for the effectiveness and attendance control of public employees and agents within the institution;
  • Perform other activities that are superiorly determined for you under the terms of the INS Organic Statute and other applicable legislation.
