DIRECTOR

The functions of the Public Health Training Division are:

• Implement the Medical Residency in Public Health and others that may be determined, in coordination with the Colleges of the Order of Physicians of Mozambique;
• Offer short-term courses for health professionals;
• Generate scientific evidence on public health training to inform decision-making;
• Promote the development and improvement of human resources within INS and the National Health System;
• To cooperate with national and foreign scientific institutions and international development support agencies, in order to promote the training of human resources in public health and the training of researchers on topics of national interest;
• Promote initiatives for financing the technical-scientific development of human capital;
• Manage the National Health Library;
• Manage the Virtual Health Library.;
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.
