She holds a degree in Biological Sciences from Eduardo Mondlane University, Mozambique (2008), and a Master's degree in Public Health from the Higher Institute of Science and Technology of Mozambique (2015). She has research experience in the field of tuberculosis bacteriology and is the author and co-author of scientific articles published in journals such as the African Journal of Laboratory Medicine and ERJ Open Research.

Between 2009 and 2017, she served as Quality Manager at the National Tuberculosis Reference Laboratory. From 2018 to 2020, she was in charge of this laboratory and, between 2021 and 2022, she held the position of Head of the Public Health Laboratory Network and Reference Services Department. In September 2024, she was appointed Head of the Autonomous Quality Management Department of the National Health Institute (INS), a role she currently holds.
