She has a degree in Hospital Administration from the Maputo Institute of Health Sciences (1997), a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Polytechnic University of Mozambique (2008), and a master's degree in Public Health and Development from the Institute of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine of the New University of Lisbon (2020).

She is a member of the Institutional Committee on Health Bioethics at the National Institute of Health (INS) and a researcher with the Health Systems Program.

Between 1998 and 2007, she served as Administrator of Infulene Psychiatric Hospital and Chamanculo General Hospital. From 2007 to 2008, she was Head of the Planning and Cooperation Department at the Maputo City Health Directorate. Between 2008 and 2009, she held the position of Head of the Central Procurement Unit (UGEA) at the Ministry of Health. From 2009 to 2019, she was Deputy Director for the Administrative Area and Institutional Development at the National Health Institute. Between 2019 and 2024, she served as Head of the Autonomous Department of Administration and Finance of the INS.
